With a degree in Fine Arts from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Irene Grau furthered her training at the Academy of Fine Arts in Palermo (Sicily, Italy). She received several scholarships, alternating between painting, photography and installation projects, bestowing each exhibition with a profound sense of space and complex relations with colour. Her most acclaimed projects include plans and supports in which the pictorial context interweaves with the architecture and the landscape. In recent years she has collaborated with various national and international galleries, receiving prizes at festivals (PhotoEspaña 2015) and participating at the Volta (Basel), Arco (Madrid) and Lima fairs, among others.
