This Guibert work was acquired at the Puxagallery stand at the JUSTMAD 8 fair in Madrid. It is the latest version of an action that the Cuban artist did years ago in his home country, with a symbolism that generates a lovely poetic sense. Rosales’s works express the codes of emigrants, identity, frontiers and crossbreeding, harmonising his coherent discourse with unusual visual quality. Here, a human silhouette whose truth distinguishes no races or colours demonstrates how to embrace a stream by merging with nature and encouraging us to continue inhabiting the essentiality of things, at a historical time when the philosophical and moral tenets of our time are being polarized.
