2018. Pedro Masaveu. Pasión por Sorolla. This exhibition, which marks the 25th anniversary of the death of Pedro Masaveu Peterson (1938‒1993). is intended as a tribute to his love of art and passion for the work of Joaquín Sorolla y Bastida (1863‒1923), one of most versatile, prolific and fascinating personalities in the history of modern Spanish painting.
2015 The Gold Medal from the City Council of Madrid was awarded to the Foundation, in recognition of its work in the field of Patronage and Art Collecting.
2013 The María Cristina Masaveu Peterson Foundation took over the management of the Masaveu Collection. 2012 Presentation of the facsimile edition of one of Lope de Vega’s last poetic manuscripts, the Durán-Masaveu Codex. This autograph notebook belongs to the Masaveu Corporation and was co-edited by the Spanish Royal Academy and the María Cristina Masaveu Peterson Foundation.
2012 First edition of Miradas de Asturias (Visions of Asturias). The project, sponsored by the Foundation, promotes the creation of an unpublished work inspired by Asturias and its people, based on the most intimate and personal vision of prestigious photographers. The first edition of Visions of Asturias was carried out by Alberto García-Alix.
2011 Concert given by a Spanish orchestra for the first time in history at the Paul VI Audience Hall in the Vatican, by the Principality of Asturias Symphony Orchestra.

2008 First Edition of the “María Cristina Masaveu Peterson Scholarships of Academic Excellence”. Since the creation of the Scholarships of Academic Excellence Programme, more than 180 scholarship holders have carried out activities at the most prestigious international universities and centres.
2007 Hevia Palace was opened to the public for the first time by the Foundation, in order to host a meeting between the biggest multidisciplinary cultural centres in the world, the G-8 Cultural.
2006 On 5 May 2006 María Cristina Masaveu Peterson created the Foundation. Its Registration in the Foundations Registry was published in Official State Gazette (BOE) no. 173. She died on 14 November 2006, seven months after creating the Foundation.
