COLLINS, Hannah
(Londres, 1956)
Hanna Collins is one of the artists who, at the start of the 1990s, promoted the use of large formats and multiple installations in the area of contemporary photography. Her work normally combines the monumental scale of the prints with the great intimacy and poetry of the images that generally combine aspects related to the memory, emigration, urban archaeology, reflections about the future and the passage of time. The use of audio-visual documents and multiple screens is another feature of her exhibitions, very well received internationally.
