EXHIBITION
BREAKFAST WITH THE REAL DIAMONDS, BY MIGUEL CARAVACA

Room 9. FMCMP Madrid Centre
01 FEBRUARY – 12 MARCH, 2023

Faithful to its commitment to contemporary art, in recent years the Fundación María Cristina Masaveu Peterson has launched a line of work related to street art, visible in its patronage projects as well as in its art collection, which features artists such as Banksy, Keith Haring, Muelle, Juan Díaz-Faes, Albert Pinya, and others. Most of this collection is currently on display in the Street Art Space here at our Madrid headquarters.

To mark Madrid Art Week, the Fundación María Cristina Masaveu Peterson is pleased to present a recently purchased painting by Miguel Caravaca, one of the leading Spanish artists on the street art scene.

Miguel Caravaca (Madrid, 1979) is a plastic artist who frequently works with acrylic on canvas, creating different textures and adding miscellaneous materials. With their roots in classical painting, his colourist, large-format works are influenced by cubism, pop art, street art and expressionism.
