With a degree in Fine Arts from the University of the Basque Country, Kepa Garraza furthered his academic training in Barcelona and at the Bradford Art College in England. He has held several exhibitions in the past ten years at venues in Spain, Holland and the United States. Recently he has also participated in international contemporary art fairs in Lima, Frankfurt, Cologne and Madrid, among others. His work reflects on society and Art, examining the figure of the artist through paintings that are usually accompanied by photographic archives and that, often, mask a tribute to the great historical masters.
