This Jesús Herrera work was acquired by the Fundación María Cristina Masaveu Peterson in the Curated Venture programme at the JUSTMAD 8 fair in Madrid in the space of the Asturian gallery ATM. It is part of the World-Painting series in which this artist from Alicante reflects on the pictorial gaze, narrative strategies and processes of artistic creation. In this case, he does so with a group of minuscule drawings on paper, a kind of visual trompe-l’oeil which recreates different casual relationships among famous works of art, generating a series that yearns for new meanings.
