TALKS ORGANISED BY THE FUNDACIÓN CALLIA

On the occasion of the Ibero-American Patronage Awards that the Fundación Callia grants every year, a day of talks and encounters with major international patrons and artists will be held in the María Cristina Masaveu Auditorium on Sunday 20 February.
Carmen Reviriego, the director of the Fundación Callia, introduced this event, which will feature the participation of prominent personalities from international cultural institutions, such as Alex Rüger, director of the Royal Academy of Arts, and Jorge M. Pérez and Darlene Boytell-Pérez, founders of the Jorge M. Pérez Family Foundation. They discussed the importance of art as a tool for social transformation. The talks are divided into several thematic sections to address the commitment to art and its usefulness for society from different vantage points.
