The exhibition «Colección Masaveu. Objeto y naturaleza. Bodegones y floreros de los siglos XVII – XVIII» features around fifty works by the leading artists devoted to the genre and charts the development of this type of painting in Spain from the Baroque era to the Age of Enlightenment.
Led by the curator Ángel Aterido and involving different experts, the lecture series will examine diverse aspects of the works and authors included in the show.

- 24 OCTOBER 2023: Still-Life Paintings: The Art and Science of Collecting (II). Jose Ramón Marcaida
- 19 DECEMBER 2023: Luis Meléndez in the Masaveu Collections (III). Peter Cherry
- 16 JANUARY 2024: Masterpieces of the still life: unique pieces from the Masaveu Collection (IV). Ángel Aterido
All the lectures will take place at 6.30 pm in the María Cristina Masaveu Auditorium.
IMPORTANT: Free admission on a first come, first served basis. Tickets (one per person) can be collected at the Foundation’s ticket office from one hour before the start of the lecture.
