THE MARIA CRISTINA MASAVEU PETERSON FOUNDATION PARTICIPATES IN THE 12TH EDITION OF MOM (MADRID OTRA MIRADA) WITH GUIDED TOURS OF ITS HEADQUARTERS IN MADRID

18 – 20 OCTOBER, 2024

The program of the 12th edition of Madrid Otra Mirada counts with the participation of the María Cristina Masaveu Peterson Foundation. MOM is a cultural program organized by the Culture Department of the Madrid City Council that includes guided tours, conferences and talks, concerts, workshops, exhibitions, screenings and children’s activities in different cultural spaces in the city, buildings and representative institutions. This great open day of Madrid’s architecture allows visitors to get to know more than a hundred buildings and architectural studios that are normally closed to the public.

The María Cristina Masaveu Peterson Foundation, heir to the Masaveu family’s tradition of collecting and patronage, has its own art collection, which focuses especially on contemporary art and includes pieces by established artists along with works by emerging creators. This guided tour provides an insight into the Foundation’s cultural promotion and dissemination work, as well as the refurbishment of its Madrid headquarters, a former 19th century mansion recently converted into a cultural centre.

Access to areas of the building that are normally restricted to the public, such as the terrace or the María Cristina Masaveu auditorium, will be available.
