MARTÍN DE LUCAS, Rubén
(Madrid, 1977)
In 2001, he founded the Boa Mistura cooperative with several colleagues who shared his interest in graffiti and murals. They participated in major events like the Venice Architecture Biennale, the Biennial of the South in Panama, the Havana Biennial and the Reina Sofía National Museum Art Centre. Since 2003, he has developed and displayed his individual projects, in which he tends to use retouched photographs, painted landscapes and videos, participating in collective fairs. He won First Prize at the 9th Barceló Foundation Contest in Palma de Mallorca and First Prize at the 27th Painting Contest of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
