Pedrita Studio is a multidisciplinary design studio established in Lisbon since 2005. It was founded by Rita João and Pedro Ferreira after their collaboration in the Fábrica consultancy. Each of their projects seeks to question process and material culture, creating unexpected formal solutions. Some of their most outstanding artistic projects are those that, starting from old photographs, which they digitize and analyze pixel by pixel, are recreated from the reuse of small tiles, which function as the pixels of the image itself.
