Both his sculpture projects for cities and public spaces, for theatrical scenery, and his multiple publications on sculptures, artist books, drawings, graphic work and sound art are already in the best collections in the world. With Plensa, the human body is essential, as a space for the poetic resonance of the individual who moves thanks to light, silence and poetry. National Prize for Plastic Arts 2013 and National Prize for Graphic Arts 2012, he has also received the Alexander Calder Foundation Prize and the Spanish Association of Art Critics for the best work at Arco 98, among others.
