With a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona, Ignasi Prat specialised in photography at the Higher School of Photography and at the Institute of Photography Studies in Catalonia. He has carried out several thematic projects alluding to political and social issues. He has received several awards and has been awarded with scholarships at the Hall of Young Artists in Barcelona, the 2nd Meeting of New Artists and VEGAP Proposals. He has participated in several workshops, forming part of groups and biennials such as “Jeune Creation Europeenne”, among others.
