THE OVIEDO OPERATION FOUNDATION PRESENTS
ITS 24/25 SEASON AT THE MARÍA CRISTINA MASAVEU AUDITORIUM

19 JUNE, 2024

The FMCMP Madrid Centre recently hosted the presentation of the 77th Oviedo Opera Season at the María Cristina Masaveu Auditorium. This year’s programme, which runs from September 2024 to February 2025, features the performance of major works like Anna Bolena, The Barber of Seville, Arabella, Aida and the Marriage of Figaro.

The Fundación María Cristina Masaveu Peterson is supporting the programme through its patronage of the Oviedo Opera Foundation, whose mission is to promote the organisation and dissemination of opera-related activities in Asturias and, through its opera season, reach wider audiences and create a more open, generous and free-minded society.

The Oviedo Opera Foundation was created as a non-profit organisation in 1995. Its foundational aims are to promote, organise, support, assist and, within its possibilities, finance the Oviedo opera festival or season.  It also contributes on a non-profit basis to the promotion, development and dissemination of the performing arts in general, and in particular those related to opera, dance and ballet.
