The work of Miguel Rael includes video, photography, painting, sculpture and installations, between symbolic games and conceptual resources. The tangible and the intangible, in harmony, are projected onto his compositions, generating tensions, lights and shadows that commonly analyse the insecurities, frustrations and fears of humans and their multiple identities, scrutinising our own memory and that of others from a post-minimalist tradition where metaphors are rife. Awarded with the 2015 Cañada Blanch Foundation Prize, he has participated at several international fairs such as Arco Madrid, Maco México and ParisPhoto.
