The graphic materials that he tends to use in his projects alternate between photographs, document reproductions, investigations, his own notes and videos. The balance between the documentary work and subtlety is crucial in these works, as revealed by his final degree project at the Art School of Oviedo, entitled The Burial Pit of Valdediós, which earned him a MUSAC creation grant in 2005 and later led him to work in Bosnia-Herzegovina. He earned a scholarship from CaixaGalicia and LABoral, and has won the Purificación García third prize, an ABC honourable mention and the Young Creators Prize of the Madrid Town Hall
