Leonor Serrano studied Architecture and Fine Arts at the European University of Madrid. She later furthered her training with a Master’s degree at Goldsmith’s University and is currently pursuing her doctorate at Slade, UCL (London). She has been awarded numerous scholarships, including the 2016 International Visual Art Scholarship from the Botín Foundation and the 2014 Generation Grant from Caja Madrid, and her career has a clear international orientation.
In her works, Serrano tries to combine art and architecture, theatre and movement, always starting with research into theories of communication through form, the relationship between the body, its movements and design.
