This piece is the 5th Ibero-American Patronage Prize awarded by the Callia Foundation in 2019 to Fernando Masaveu and Carolina Compostizo for their prominent role as patrons since 2006 via the Fundación María Cristina Masaveu Peterson.
Just like much of Serrano’s sculptures, in this piece she uses a wall mount, here made of aluminium, which she envisions independently, whose undulation is its most salient feature.
