VILARIÑO, Manuel

Photographer and poet, with many expressive registers, Vilariño is one of the most prolific authors of the current Spanish scene, appreciated by audiences and critics alike. He alternates color with black and white to capture worlds endowed with their own language, full of presences, dreams, silences and evocations. Still lifes, portraits and landscapes with conceptual backdrops, who love photography as a medium for scenography taken directly from inner thought. In 2007, he represented Spain at the Venice Biennale and received the National Photography Award.
